CSSC has swimmers qualify for the 12th FINA World Championships held march, 2007 in Melbourne, Australia.Anne will join fellow CSSC swimmers Vlad Polyakov and Leila Vaziri at the 12th FINA World Championships being held in Melbourne, Australia. Anne will compete in her signature event, the 200 breaststroke and represent Germany. The swimming portion of the 2007 World Championships will run from March 25th through April 1st.

Let us know and we'll do our best to fix it. District Individual Results and District Relay Results, Region/State Individual Results and Region/State Relay Results. Region and State results may be legal USA Swimming times and are eligible for consideration as Club records. They will also (eventually) be entered on TMO when the necessary corrections are made to assure that the swims are logged to the proper age group.

Carolina Wendling's trip home to her native Brasil was a triumph as she swam 3 events in the 34th Trofeu Jose Finkel, Brazil's 2005 Short Course Nationals, putting up personal best times in all three events and collecting two Bronze medals.(more)

08/18/05 Ryan O'Shaughnessy selected as FGC Zone All-Stars MVP. Ryan was selected as the Men's MVP by the FGC Zones coaching staff. Nick Manousos and Caroline Kuczynski were also given recognition. Check out the very nice wrap up of the FGC Zones Highlights here.

08/18/05 Harvey Beckwith continues to roll along. CSSC Hall of Famer Harvey Beckwith made his annual trip to compete at the National Championships something special this year. Not only did he put up fine times in the 100m breast (1:05.94 and 1:05.56 in a time trial), Harvey made his first national championship cut in the 200m Breast, going 2:22.25 in a time trial. This is 1.5 seconds better than his previous personal best, not to bad for a man who owns CSSC club records going back to 1992!

08/18/05 Vlad Polyakov earns Silver at World University Games, finals in 3 events. Vlad made an excellent start in Izimir, Turkey, taking 2nd in the 200m breaststroke (2:12.69). Poland's Slawomir Kuczko won in 2:12.35 while Japan's Imamura Genki, Bronze Medallist at the World Championships two weeks ago, again finished 3rd (2.12.95). Vlad also swam the 100m breast, finishing 8th in 1:02.12. He concluded with the 50m breast on Wednesday, 8/17/05 His 28.46, a personal best, was good enough for 7th in an amazing race where the 2nd through 8th place finishers touched the wall within two tenths of a second of one another!

08/07/05 CSSC at the 2005 Southern Zones Championships What an incredible meet for our CSSC swimmers and the Florida Gold Coast! This FGC team was loaded with talent. (more)

08/05/05 Ryan O'Shaughnessy collects second FGC record at Zones. Ryan went 1.09.20, a Junior National cut, to break Olympian Bradley Ally's five year old record in the boys 13-14 100-meter breaststroke on Friday. He and the other CSSC swimmers helped the Gold Coast All Stars pull to within 14 points of 1st place Georgia going into the final day of the Zones Championships. Results to date are here.

08/03/05 Carolyn Kuczynski and Ryan O'Shaughnessy shine at Zones on Day 2. Ryan O'Shaughnessy swam 2:25.59 to win the 200m breaststroke, tenth best on USA Swimming's all time list for 13-14 boys and a Junior National Championship time by 3 seconds. Carolyn Kuczynski's 1:04.13 in a thrilling finish barely won the 100m Butterfly. It is a US Open Cut and Junior National Championship time as well!. Also, Nick Manousos, swimming in his first Zone finals, dropped 4 seconds on his 200m breaststroke to finish 7th. Results here.
